Here are some other stats from today’s teenagers that compel us to do what we do (help grow student movements on the internet)…
- Only 53% of 13-18 year olds say their favorite way to talk to stay in touch with their friends is to talk “in person”
- Cell phones, Instant messaging, Text messaging, and emails are the preferred communication method of more than 1/3 of today’s teens
- When it comes to honesty and sharing, 41% say they are more outgoing with friends online than in person.
- 19% say they would prefer to talk about important things online rather than in person
- 30% say that they are able to share more with a friend online rather than in person
